Agenda Items:
1. To commence the meeting.
2. To consider and if thought fit to adopt
the Standing Orders for the Conduct of the First Extraordinary General Meeting,
the 20th Session, 2012 - 2013.
3. To consider and if thought fit to adopt
the following resolution:-
In order to penalize
Glacier, HOUSE III Students’ Association, HKUSTSU for its embezzlement of
other affiliated societies’ official chops, this EGM orders:-
(a) that the HKUSTSU Council
Chairperson convene a Council Meeting and propose a bill in such meeting in
accordance with Article 18.1 (a) of the HKUSTSU Constitution to suspend the
status of affiliation of Glacier, HOUSE III Students' Association, HKUSTSU
with immediate effect until 28th February 2013 inclusive ;
(b) that members of the
HKUSTSU Council (referring to the entity of Article 12.3 of the HKUSTSU
Constitution) vote for and adopt the same bill as stated in
item (a) without any amendment ; and
(c) that
items (a) and (b) be executed within seven calendar days
after this resolution has been adopted.

Notice of the First Extraordinary
General Meeting of HKUSTSU,
the 20th Session, 2012-2013
由於本會早前收到由一百五十四名基本會員在符合本會憲章第六章第五條第d款的要 求下作出之聯署，要求召開特別全民大會。香港科技大學學生會謹此宣佈，本屆學生會第一次特別全民大
會在將會在二零一二年十一月七日召開。本會所有基本會員皆歡迎出席是次會議、發言和討論。

On behalf of the HKUST Students' Union, the 20th
Session, 2012 - 2013, we hereby announce that the First Extraordinary
General Meeting (“EGM”) of the HKUST Students' Union (“HKUSTSU”), the 20th
Session, 2012 - 2013 will be held on 7th November, 2012 in accordance with Article 6.5 (d) of the Constitution
of the Union in conjunction with a written requisition signed by 154 Full Members. All Full Members are welcomed to attend, speak and
vote in the EGM.
