學生會編輯委員會總編輯辭任公告
Resignation of Editor-in-Chief of the Editorial Board
香港科技大學學生會（「本會」）謹此宣佈，曾麗雯同學辭任本會編輯委員會總編輯一職，由二零一二年九月十一日生效。
曾麗雯同學基於個人及健康原因而向學生會提出呈辭，以解除其作為本會編輯委員會總編輯的職責。由二零一二年九月十一日起，曾麗雯同學不會再在本會擔任任何職務，而本會亦不會再為其個人事務而負上任何責任。
根據本會憲章第17.13條，假如本會編輯委員會總編輯一職因任何原因出缺，編輯委員會其中一位副總編輯將會署任總編輯一職，並主持和協調編輯委員會之原有工作。本會謹此宣佈，副總編輯陳棟材同學現獲委任為署理總編輯一職，主持和協調編輯委員會之工作。
本會謹此衷心感謝曾麗雯同學於在任期間對本會所作的寶貴意見、貢獻和服務。
The Students’ Union wishes to announce that with effect from 11th September 2012, Ms. TSANG Lai Man (“Ms. TSANG”) has resigned as the Editor-in-Chief of the Students’ Union Editorial Board.
Due to personal and health reasons, Ms. TSANG has tendered her resignation to the Students’ Union for discharging her responsibilities as the Editor-in-Chief of the Students’ Union Editorial Board. After 11th September 2012, Ms. TSANG will not act on any business in relation with our Union and we take no responsibilities for her affairs.
According to the HKUSTSU Constitution Article 17.13, in the event of any vacancy of the Editor-in-Chief of the Editorial Board, one of the Assistant Editors-in-Chief of the Editorial shall preside over and coordinate the work of the Editorial Board. The Assistant Editor-in-Chief, Mr. CHAN, Tung Choi Sam, will act as Acting Editor-in-Chief and he will preside over and coordinate the work of the Editorial Board.
The Students’ Union would like to take this opportunity to extend a vote of appreciation to Ms. TSANG for her valuable advice, contributions and service to the Students’ Union during her tenure of office.

社 會反對推行《德育及國民教育科》的訴求清晰，九萬人遊行、十二萬人集會、甚至學生、退休教師、教授等
絕食，政 府依然無動於衷。梁振英於九月四日指出討論的前題是不撤回國教科，顯示政府完全無視社會一直以
來的訴 求。
科 大學生會現呼籲同學繼續團結一致，抗爭到底，於9月10日開學日一同穿著黑色衣服回校，以表示 反對政府
推行洗腦 科的決心。
接 下來的活動預告：
1. 911大專罷課及誓師大會
發 起團體：香港專上學生聯會
集 會時間：九月十一日(星期二) 下午二時至六時
集 會地點：香港中文大學百萬大道
*本會透過facebook event呼籲同學參加11/9大專生罷課活動，一日之內已收到接近二 百多名同學的支持。
亦有屬會 包括香港科技大學學生計算機工程學系學生會、香港科技大學學生會田徑會、香港科技大學學生會冰
川社三學 生會、香港科技大學學生會嶄越社四學生會、香港科技大學學生會社五卓毅學生會加入聯署聲明。我
們正在不 斷更新的聯署，並歡迎其他屬會繼續加入。
為 了更準確估計罷課日之出席人數，以決定是否安排專車接送，請參與的同學填寫以下表格。
*本會已發電郵給各校授，知會各校授有關星期二的罷課活動，讓其理解當日出席率可能較平日低的原因，同時
希望校授 支持本活動，建議當日不計算學生出席率，讓同學可以放心以罷課去表達自己的訴求。
2. 9.29「抗國教 學界公民參與日」 罷課體驗
日 期：九月二十九日（星期六）
時 間：上午10時至下午6時
地 點：香港理工大學
國 民教育已滲透至學生成長的每個階段，民間自發的公民教育是對抗國教的其中一個方法。香港專上學生聯
會（學 聯）舉辦「抗國教 學界公民參與日」，邀得教授和資深教師 講解圍繞公民教育的議題，同時有大學生
設計和主 持的公民教育工作坊讓中小學生參與。
我 們誠邀中小學師生、家長一同參與是次的活動，為民間公民教育展開討論和實踐。也為罷課的形式作出嘗
試，呈現 罷課的形式，釋除公眾對罷課的疑慮。
*科大學生會會在O-WEEK擺放counter招募9.29罷課體驗日的義工，有興趣的同學屆時可 以前來報名，另外
亦可以到 以下網上連結報名。

"Dress in Black Clothes Day" on 10th September 2012
Dear HKUST students,
Knowing the disadvantages of the new introductive education, a strong objection against
the Moral and National Education is now prevailing in the society, which includes
demonstration with 90 thousands people, mass gathering with 120 thousands citizens and
even the hunger strike held by students, retired teachers and professors. However, there
is no any response from the government until now. It even shows that the government
disregards the demands by society after CY Leung stated that the premise to start a
discussion is not to withdraw the new education.
The harder the time, more united we are. Thus, on behalf of Students’ Union, we strongly
appeal to all students for wearing black clothes on 9th September, the first day of school
in order to show our strong will to object the implementation of the Moral and National
Education.
Announcement of the next activities
1. Joint-University Class Boycott Action and Joint-Declaration Action
Organized by: The Hong Kong Federation of Studetns
Date: 11th September, 2012
Time: 2pm – 6pm
Venue: Main road between Pi Ch’iu Building and The East Wing of The Art Museum
We had called on UST students to join the Class Boycott Action on 11 Sept through our
facebook page and it we received a great support by almost 200 students within a day.
There are also some affliated societies joining the Joint- Declaration including
Computer Engineering Students’ Society, HKUSTSU, Track and Field Club, HKUSTSU, Glacier,
HOUSE III Students’ Association, HKUSTSU, Vista, House IV Students’ Association,
HKUSTSU and Endeavour, House V Students’ Association, HKUSTSU. We are still renewing
the number of the joining societies in the declaration and other societies are still
welcomed to join the declaration for support us.
Besides, In order to help students go to CUHK easily, 2 City Bus will be arranged with
below information
Departure time: 1pm
Departure point: Piazza
Number of seat: 2 Double decker buses (Around 200 seats totally), first-come-first-served
Moreover, not only be a participant, you can also become a helper on that day and help
prepare the activities later on. Therefore, for better coordination and arrangement,
students who want to participate and become helper please fill in the form as below
to speak you will out.
Noticed that the attendance may be lower on 11 Sept, we had sent a e-mail to professors
for explanation the hence encouraging them not to count the attendance on that day so
the students could express their views and make decisions freely. Moreover, the staff
and professors are encouraged to join the Class Boycott with students to support the
impedance of the implementation of the brainwashing education to the primary and
secondary students.
2. 9.29 “Say no to National Education – Participation Day for citizens” Class
Boycott experience
Date: 29th September, 2012 (Saturaday)
Time: 10am – 6pm
Venue: Hong Kong Polytechnic University
As the National Education has been permeating to every part of students’ life, a
non-governmental civil education is necessary to confront the presenting education.
Therefore, The Hong Kong Federation of Students is going to hold an anti-National
Education, which named “Say no to National Education – Participation Day for citizens”
so as to introduce some issues around civil education to citizen. Not only professors
and senior teachers will be invited to have a talk and explanation about civil
education, some civil education workshop designed by university students will also
be set up to help children and teenagers know more about civil education.
We now sincerely invite our fellow students not only participate the mass activity
on 29 Sept solely, but also encourage the UST students to invite your families, friends
and college teachers to get involved in the activity. Only after numerous attempts and
discussions about the civil education, can we finally dispel the doubt caused by Mass
Class Boycott and have a complete understanding to the reason to impede the National
Education. Student could also visit following link to know more about the details of
the experiencing day on 29 Sept.
To response the experiencing day on 29 Sept, a counter will be set by Students’ Union
during Orientation Week in order to recruit volunteers to help prepare and coordinate
the experiencing day. Students could also apply in the following link of they cannot
visit the counter.

強烈呼籲：大專生領頭罷課 要求撤回國教科 [附上：香港大專學界聯署聲明]
致各位香港科技大學學生：
本學生會現在強烈呼籲各位學生於11/9參與大專罷課及誓師大會，以實際行動告訴社
會各界我們身為大學生，是實實際際關心社會下一代的成長，堅拒國民教育科，更會盡
全力支援一切反國教的中小學罷課行動。有意參與者可回覆本電郵留下聯絡方法。

本會一直堅持政府必須立刻撒回國民教育科。從基本概念而論，課程對於民族、國

新科，再者現時的通識教育科與國教科的目標宗旨明顯出現重疊，意圖成疑，亦毫無價
值；從教學而言，身份認同等複雜概念絕不適合於小學或初中階段教授，於沒有充分獨
自思考判斷能力下則成強行灌輸，則所謂「洗腦」，教學當中又將歷史出奇地斬劈得支
離破碎。不論以任何角度而論，皆顯示國教科徹底錯誤，毫無價值。
有時及此，本會一路參與反國民教育工作，當中包括組織遊行、擺設學聯街站、呼籲
同學參與集會。但眾所週知，社會各界在近數月已用盡所有可行方法去要求政府立刻撒
回國教，政府卻充耳不聞。但是為了守護下一代，我們作為大學生責無旁貸，必須繼續
抗爭到底，因此我們聯同各大院校學生會發起11/9大專罷課及誓師大會及29/9反國教罷
課體驗日，以實際行動告知各界大專界會盡全力支援一切反國教的中小學罷課行動。
最後，本會再一次強烈呼籲各位科大生必須站出來，以實際行動告知我們要求撒回國

香港社會反對推行《德育及國民教育科》(下稱國教科)已久，縱眾說紛紜，但社會的共
識卻是清晰明確，就是必須「立即撤回國教科」。梁振英於九月四日指出討論的前題是
不撤回國教科，顯示政府完全無視社會一直以來的訴求。有鑑於此，香港大專生深明己
任，責無旁貸，故毅然決定團結反國教，於九月十一日率先發起罷課，為未來中、小學
罷課作出充分準備及支持，要求政府勿再蒙混大眾視聽，立即撤回國教科，聲明如下：
教育專業審視 國教科存問題
中、小學以至大專已相繼開學，而民間反對國教科運動從未止息。教育局至今仍聲稱國
教科有三年推展期，可於「不撤回」的前題下諮詢改善，但此科本質上就存在問題，必
須撤回。
從基本概念而論，課程對於民族、國家、公民等概念出現根本錯誤；從課程政策而言，
所謂的國民教育本已存在，毋須另設新科，再者現時的通識教育科與國教科的目標宗旨
明顯出現重疊，意圖成疑，亦毫無價值；從教學而言，身份認同等複雜概念絕不適合於
小學或初中階段教授，於沒有充分獨自思考判斷能力下則成強行灌輸，則所謂「洗
腦」，教學當中又將歷史出奇地斬劈得支離破碎。不論以任何角度而論，皆顯示國教科
徹底錯誤，毫無價值。
政府非推不可 政治意圖明顯
儘管上述等諸多問題，民間反對國教科基本已達兩年之久。不同組織團體皆以各種方式
表示反對，甚至近日的絕食行動。香港政府泯滅良心,視若無睹，漠視民意，繼續不惜
一切硬推國教科，其政治意圖實不言而明。此舉令人聯想通識教育科的「失控」，促使
梁振英政府需趕快履行盛傳是北京指派的四大政治任務以亡羊補牢。教育本是成人之
學，使學生具備明辨是非，獨立判斷的能力，亦之所以教育乃任何政府、組織團體必爭
之地，更是意識形態的戰場。我們絕不甘願讓一群未有抵禦能力的下一代承受這等全盤
皆錯的教育，故政府必須立即撤回國教科以正視聽。
罷課支援罷課 守護後代成長
我們大專生乃經歷中、小學教育的過來人，深悉這段期間對學生的影響何其深遠，唯經
過社會一連串的反國教行動，政府仍然無動於衷，故我們大專生決定將行動升級，率先
發起罷課集會，向政府施加更大壓力，要求立即撤回國教科。同時亦希望使中、小學學
生、家長以至社會明白大專生能夠動員足夠人手支援中、小學罷課，共同抗爭。是次罷
課將是有別於一般單以學生會主導的方式，而是由學生會聯合各大高等院校的學生組織
同共進行，上下齊心，展示大專生的團結。我們於此共同承諾定必齊心一起支持、支援
以至參與未來的中、小學以至大專罷課，以表反對國教科的決心，誓保後代健康成長。
我們於此重申聲明：
一、政府必須立即撤回《德育及國民教育科》國教科；
二、全體大專生率先發起罷課，齊心反國教科；
三、全力支援一切反國教的中小學罷課行動
四、於九月十一日進行第一次的大專罷課及誓師大會，以示大專生對罷課的支持及決心
五、呼籲大專教職員參與有關行動

誠邀參與反對國民教育科大遊行
各位同學,
過去一年，政府將推行的「德育及國民教育科」一直受大眾質疑。 近日，「國情專題教學手冊」更引起社會人士的強烈爭議。
「國情專題教學手冊」大篇幅地正面描述中國的經濟、政治、民生等議題，至於國家需要改善的地方則佔極少篇幅，六四、豆腐渣工程等更加隻字不提，內容偏頗。
真正的國民教育，應該讓學生透過正反兩面了解事實，培養學生成為具批判思考及多角度分析能力的公民，讓學生自行決定對國家的歸屬感。
要是你支持撤回「德育及國民教育科」，希望政府建立一套非政治灌輸、鼓勵學生培養批判思考及關心社會的公民教育課程，請一同參與是次反對國民教育科大遊行。

就悼念科大學生不幸離世告示
昨日本校一名修讀物理系的三年級學生因急病離世，本會就此深表遺憾及對其同學家屬表示深切慰問，並盡可能提供一切幫助予同學及其家屬。
本會現正與校方聯絡同學親人，希望能給予任何形式協助，亦希望與當事人家屬盡快會面，從而提供一切家屬所需。
本會明白此事事發突然，故本會希望情緒受困的同學可主動接觸校方接受輔導(輔導及發展處電話：23586696或可電郵至counsel@ust.hk)。同時，本會鼓勵各位同學維持一
個健康的生活方式，多保重身體，且在學習和玩樂的同時，能注意健康。

Notice on the unfortunate loss of a student
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved
third-year student, who studies Degree in Physics,due to the sudden
illness yeterday.
The Executive Committee, HKUSTSU will collaborate with the school to
contact her family, and will provide any assistance when necessary.
The Executive Committee, HKUSTSU do understand that this sudden news may
affect our fellow schoolmates and lead to depression. Therefore, we do
hope that for those who feel depressed after hearing such news, please
seek help from the school for counselling (Counsellor Development, Student
Affairs Office Tel: 2358 6696 or Email to counsel@ust.hk), so as to
express your feelings. Meanwhile, we sincerely encourage all our fellow
schoolmates to have and maintain a healthy living style. If our fellow
schoolmates do need some help from the Students’ Union, we will also
